Today almost 160,000 Diploma Programme (DP) students around the world will receive their results from the May 2017 examination session.

The University of Nottingham has launched a new undergraduate scholarship for outstanding overseas fee-paying students who have successfully completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) before applying to study at the institution.

​Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah encouraged over 900 educators to redefine their roles as leaders at the third annual Teacher Skills Forum in Amman, Jordan last week. Her Majesty called upon teachers to ‘instil the values of peace and co-existence’ in their students in order to face today’s challenges, and urged teachers to educate their students about “hard work and resilience”.

In a unique communications partnership, the International Baccalaureate and ITN Productions are producing a news and current affairs-style programme named ‘A Better World Through Education’ hosted by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.

Research conducted by the Warwick Institute for Employment Research (IER) shows that graduates of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) believe that the course successfully prepares them for the world of work (71%), and for university too (75%).
